The third conference was organised in Yaoundé and Douala, Cameroon in January 2003 in collaboration with Cenainvest. A number of prominent international experts and organisations and venture capital practitioners from all over Africa took part in these conferences, thus contributing to the creation of strong network of private equity managers in Africa and leading to the creation of the Africa Venture Capital Association.
